Wildlife Rescue Services
Founded 16 years ago by Phil Groombridge
Based in Salisbury, Wiltshire
Services available to the public :

This 24-hour service responds to calls from all over the country and Europe as people seek advice for a wide range of problems. Many are seeking contact details of rescue services in their own areas and we try to put them in touch with wildlife experts who can assist them.
Many calls from people require help with the care and feeding of orphanded wildlife.   We also help the police control rooms at night as urgent reports come in about wildlife injured in road traffic accidents.
The subject matter of calls changes according to the time of the year. For example, during spring and summer the service is inundated with people seeking advice as to what to do with young fledglings.  In July they are mainly about hedgehogs, normally nocturnal, being found sick or injured during the day.
